ABOUT THE PRINTS

The prints in this series are in two edition sizes: 16x18" on 22x24" paper [edition of 9] 36x60" on 42x67" paper [edition of 3] The prints are carbon pigment on watercolor paper made at edition@diallo Photography in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Amadou Diallo is a master printer and working with him was an incredible, collaborative experience. To make the prints Amadou scaned my film (in this case 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 Polaroid negatives) with Howtek drum scanners capable of optical resolutions up to 8000 pixels/inch. He output on an Epson wide-format inkjet printer, on Somerset Velvet paper, using monochromatic carbon pigment inks from Cone Editions.
